Shift to Speed, Time for 4G with Airtel!

The day began with the announcement from Airtel that I have been waiting for! After the successful trial of services in selected cities and the feedback received from customers who used it,  Bharti Airtel, India's No. 1 service provider, commercially launched its high-speed 4G services in 296 towns across India on 06^th August 2015, Thursday. Bharti Airtel had been carrying out public test runs of the service in select towns with the first 4G network deployed in Kolkata in the year 2012. Being a customer of the world's third largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel (Airtel), I am looking forward to experience the network speed and the services offered by the telecom operator with this launch.

I am keen to try their key features such as videos from the collection of comedy, drama, action, thriller and science from popular Hollywood and Bollywood hits. As per the features go on, users can enjoy by having their own personalized list of favourite movies created by them and download video content to watch offline anytime, anywhere. The app will allow multi-device access for up to five devices with a single login, so that’s indeed a positive point giving out reach. Airtel is having this App available to users as free download and have their customers watch free videos from some of the dedicated channels, that again is a wow factor! 

To suit the needs of one and all, the company has put out subscription plans ranging from Rs. 25 to Rs. 249. For the Airtel customers who are Tech-addicted, or have internet right in their blood can also get special offers on 'Infinity Plan' (unlimited plans) ranging from Rs.999 to Rs. 3,249 for both prepaid and post paid connections. But as the unlimited plans will be offering unlimited voice calls along with data benefits and access to Wynk Movies and Wynk Music apps, I think this will be preferred by the young generation as a complete package!

And with this, Airtel also made an announcement about its tie-ups with Flipkart and Samsung for for the commercial availability of its 4G handsets with its services. I am all excited to start on Airtel 4G, and will soon make switch to a 4G SIM. Apart from Airtel stores, Samsung retail stores will also facilitate 4G SIM swaps, so it’s again ease factor for customers!

Lifestyle- Times Food Awards 2015

Ahmedabad witnessed an evening of awesomeness with Times Food and Nighlife awards 2015 held on 27th February at Courtyard by Marriott. It's been a second year in row where I got this chance to be at an event filled with food, studded with star celebrities and arranged with amazing ambiance.
TFA marked the launch of Times Food Guide 2015, compiled by Anil Mulchandani, covering the cuisines, specialties, places to visit and more about the city with regards to food. It was a proud moment to see my city glittering with this event. But as they say, winners take away all the glory-

Style is an essential element of a girl for her to exhibit feminism. According to me Style symbolizes that we are Living and not just surviving, something that makes each one a unique one. Being from a Geek background, my synchronisation with style has been simple, elegant and classy. A girl on the go, with lots to accomplish, being in Trend and meeting the end has been focus always. I like classic styles that will last. 

Buying right is important if you have to maintain your style, the clothes or the trend may not be the latest fashion, but if you know what suits and you can carry it well, then yes, I say it defines you! I have never followed fashion blindly, as they say Fashion is temporary but style is eternal. My style of being in COMFORT, CHIC & CLASSY makes me unique from all points. Whether it is adorning a Indo-Western look with heavy jewellery for an Indian function or going for Simple LBD with Heels that turn the heads, all I do is carry a spunk and balance it right with Make up, hair do & accessory.

Relive 2014- The year it was!

Last day of the year bringing in some lasting memories that this year gave me throughout. 2014 has been an amazing year, well, I should say it covered up the piece of mess 2013 had created for me!

January started off with some super celebrations of Uttarayan and my dear cousin’s wedding that had elements of traditions and departure of a friend in sister! And ofcourse, January gifted me my official “Degree of Engineering” certifying me as a Computer engineer legally. Following months were great, seeing some big fat Indian weddings of relatives, one of which I remember was in February and best so far that I have attended. Wedding of a distant cousin Jay, where-in the reception had a Book of pages depicting the story of girl & boy & last page had their real entry, indeed something different and prince-princess like thing, the feast was royal with different cuisines to relish! Celebrations and party season began with May, went upto November, having Birthday parties, meet ups and some little reunions that gave super collection of Memories, Photos and Selfies :D

Some major events that 2014 gave me- Organizing the cultural festival of college, from theme to auditions to working extra hours, dealing with authorities to students, the experience of handling one such big event was fruitful & so was the outcome with media coverage, fun and success party as followed. August got me the gift of illness of 10 days, after a long time such a sick season came to meet me, keeping me away from work for this span of time. Another gift of August was “TWhatsapp”, Yes! A crazy bunch of Twitteratis in this group of Whatsapp got me connected to people or rather friends forever type people. TWhatsapp with insane craziness and non-stop chatting I had ever seen where people could be active 24x7, make you laugh, get silly & still you can laugh more!

My Birthday month was the best month of this year! Beginning with 1^st October, that took me on my first ever TRIP to Mumbai, Pune & Lonavala covering Adlabs Imagica. The first train journey, tour of awesomeness, the best part was it was all-in-all a Girls gang trip, so managing things from commuting to stay to fun was all one-of-its-kind experience! Visiting Adlabs Imagica and the breath-stopping rides there- adventure to its best, Mumbai darshan made me meet a bunch of people there whom I got connected through Twitter, and this small meetup will be cherished for forever. Pune Pubs & Lonavala’s nature had mesmerizing memories to be framed.

One more reason for Best October was “FIRST AIR JOURNEY”! Woah! Yes, Folks at SonyMix gave me this opportunity to travel through flight for first time to their Mumbai office & gave that Celeb treatment getting me acquainted with the working there on & all other stuff, “13^th October,2014” will thus be special always. Then came my birthday, friends and family made it too special from midnight surprise to whole night calls & special wishes to surprise cakes & gifts, the birthday was one of the best birthdays. October had so many parties for my friend was just getting married off and it was her last month at work so the craziness was on to celebrate it & give her lifetime memories.

“When its your BFF’s wedding, a sea of mixed emotions cloud up”- that’s exactly how I felt when my BFF got married this year and went on for a happy life with her soul-mate this November. The month of December, the cold month with winter delight & Christmas mood, got cute surprise gifts & played a Santee as well, again first real good celebration of Christmas!

And this brings to a small snapshot of the 2014! The year that gave me many “First Ever” experiences, Friends getting engaged and married, meeting & connecting to lovely people, celebrations and entertainment. Looking forward to 2015 with a new view, no good concrete plans, but live it with zeal & Celebrate every moment!

Yes 2015, let us Begin! ;)

Say Thanks- Its Thanksgiving Day!

Thursday gives us a chance to feel grateful to all those who matter with this Thanksgiving day!!

We have had so many moments where people have made us smile, helped us for no reason, made their presence felt to comfort us, supported us through thicks and thins. Its not only the ones we know or the ones we are bonded with, but also some strangers, some people whom we may just have met for a while but yet they gave us some moments to remember. I feel like giving a big hug to all such people and thank them for giving me something to cherish forever.

An attempt.

So, finally it happened! This is my first attempt at blogging, just trying out this virtual space to express my life with words the way I used to do in my diary.
